Nokia 5630 at a Glance

The 5630 uses Symbian S60 as its operating system, making it a smartphone! A set of dedicated music keys, a MicroSD card slot and a 3.5mm jack plug confirm its musical ability. It has a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with a dual-LED flash. The phone is just 12mm thick and weighs only 83 grams! This is a 3G handset with HSDPA and Wi-Fi.

The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic takes advantage of Nokia’s two most recent online innovations, Comes with Music and N-gage, allowing users to purhase and download plenty of music files and enjoy some excellent games at anytime. The inclusion of 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi ensures you can use the fastest Internet connection available too.

Making everything work nicely is Symbian S60, powered by a lovely ARM 11 600mhz processor and 150MB of shared memory, so the 5630 should be a quick little thing, plus there is A2DP Bluetooth, a 4GB MicroSD card included and the usual support for GPRS and EDGE. Battery standby is currently quoted as being 400 hours - a mere 16 days or so - with seven hours talktime.
